Farm Field Trip: Champion Farm’s Safflower Fields in Clarkston

Join UALT’s team on Wednesday, July 22nd for a tour of the safflower fields in Clarkston on the  beautiful and expansive 300-acre Champion Farm located right off Hwy. 142.

We will meet at the UALT offices at 7:30 p.m. and drive west on Valley View Hwy. to the Benson Marina turn-off and travel through Newton until we reach Clarkston.  Owner Christian Ravsten’s safflower crop thrives in the warm climate found in Clarkston during the summer months. The safflower’s pure white seeds are used for high-protein birdseed, renowned worldwide for its outstanding quality.  The fragrance of the blooming safflower is unique and quite pleasant. Join us  to relish the beauty and fragrance of Champion Farm’s blooming safflower.
